In Jude, these spirits are revealed to us as (1) "the way of Cain," (2) "the error of Balaam," and (3) "the gainsaying of Korah." What does all this mean?We find that the "way of Cain" is a brother-killing spirit. It hates to see others blessed and is jealous when a brother is promoted by God. It say, "I must be number one at any cost!"The "error of Balaam" is a spirit that tries to hold on to both worlds...the world of the Spirit and the world of the flesh...but by doing so, looses them both.The "gainsaying of Korah" is a spirit of rebellion against leadership.
